Porcelain Veneers for a Chipped Tooth
After receiving a dental filling for a chipped tooth, Jody noticed that years of drinking coffee left visible, unwanted stains around the filling. Prior to her treatment, the doctors were able to show her computer-generated photos to give her an idea of how veneers would transform her smile.View transcript
I had chipped one of my front teeth several years ago and we were able to put a composite filling in to repair that. Over the years, staining around the edges made it visible that there was a filling there. I am a big coffee drinker. So the fact that I had a filling in the front tooth, you could see staining around the edges of that filling. So that was definitely an issue for me. With the veneers, there are no lines there anymore. So I can drink to my heart's content with coffee. h They took different pictures of how my original teeth looked. That was very important to have a natural finished product. I really had no pain or discomfort. Dr. Mack and his assistant took excellent care of me. I would definitely recommend if you're interested in veneers to ask questions, and Becky is able to do a computer generated photo of what you would look like after your veneers. And I think that was the big thing for me, was to see what a difference it made. Everything was done right here with Dr. McIntyre. You know, my kids told my mom because my mom couldn't even tell. "How does my smile look?" And they're like. "You have a beautiful smile." And so these are veneers. It is a lot of happy coffee drinking. Yes.
