"I would definitely recommend veneers at Smiles for Life!"
What Are Veneers?
Veneers are thin shells that are bonded to the surface of teeth. Once in place, veneers can dramatically enhance the beauty of a smile by:
- Concealing cracks, chips, stains, and other cosmetic blemishes
- Improving the appearance of worn, proportionately small, or irregularly formed teeth
- Hiding small gaps between teeth
Our veneers are made of dental-grade porcelain, which is available in a range of different shades and mimics the look and sheen of natural enamel for a highly lifelike result. In addition to traditional porcelain veneers, we also offer minimum-prep versions.

"I love the doctors and my teeth look great!"
Traditional porcelain veneers have been used as a trusted cosmetic solution for millions of patients. Undergoing treatment with traditional veneers is a two-step process. During your first visit, we will carefully remove a small amount of enamel from the front of teeth. This step is performed to create an ideal bonding surface and ensure proper bite alignment. Next, we will take detailed impressions of your reshaped teeth. These impressions will be sent to an advanced dental laboratory, where master ceramists will fabricate your veneers. Once your veneers are ready, you will return to our practice to have them bonded securely in place, instantly enhancing the aesthetics of your smile.
Minimum-prep veneers are much thinner than traditional types, so they can be placed with little or no teeth reshaping. Despite their thin size, they are still highly durable. Like traditional veneers, your minimum-prep veneers will be created at our trusted partner lab in order to achieve the most natural-looking results possible. However, minimum-prep veneers cannot address all of the same concerns as traditional types. We will review the unique benefits of each type during a personal consultation to help determine the treatment that is right for you.
In addition to sending impressions of your teeth, we will also provide a photo of your entire face. The ceramist will take into account your skin tone, eye color, hair color, and other factors to create the most attractive and natural-looking veneers possible.
“I never liked my teeth because they were not white enough and very small and thin. Now they are whiter and I like the shape. The comments I receive are that they look very natural and pretty.” Lindy Jacobs
Detail-oriented Treatment Planning
At Smiles For Life, we take extra steps during treatment planning to ensure the lasting satisfaction of our patients. Before your final veneers are ever created, we will first create a temporary set (known as a wax-up). You will wear these temporary veneers for a week before returning to our practice. Based on your feedback, we will make any necessary adjustments and send the final model to our partner lab.
"I feel very good about the work that I had done. I can now feel more confident when I smile. Others notice my new veneers and compliment me on the way they enhance my appearance when I smile” Catherine Craig
We have worked with the same dental laboratory for more than a decade because of the high-quality work they consistently provide. The ceramists at the lab believe in the importance of taking each patient's facial portrait into consideration when designing veneers. In addition to sending impressions of your teeth, we will also provide a photo of your entire face. The ceramist will take into account your skin tone, eye color, hair color, and other factors to create the most attractive and natural-looking veneers possible.
