Meet the Talented Members of Our Dental Care Team
“I was treated like they knew me forever, like family. I would and I have told others to go here.” Charles Redifer Jr.
Becky McIntyre - Office Manager and Registered Dental Hygienist
As Dr. McIntyre’s wife, Becky has been around dentistry ever since they got married. However, after their youngest son started elementary school she returned to college and earned her dental hygiene degree from VA Western Community College in 1997. She enjoys dentistry because it gives her the opportunity to help patients learn how they can be healthier and happier. She says, “It is always a thrill to see the expression on the patient’s face when they first look in the mirror and see their new smile. It is very rewarding to get feedback from the patients on how their new smile has empowered their life and given them greater confidence.” Becky’s first love is her amazing husband and six wonderful children--and their spouses and of course the 15 BEST grandchildren! She loves spending time with the family and spends most vacation time traveling across the country to see all of them. In her spare time, she enjoys flower gardening, crafts, reading and working with the people at her church.
According to Becky, the best part of her job is “working with the incredible Care Team we have at Smiles For Life. They are so caring, so dedicated and so willing to go the EXTRA SMILE to help our patients. They volunteer their time at our Dentistry From The Heart Event where we give free dentistry to our community. They all work so hard all day and then went on and on about how much they enjoy it and couldn’t wait for next year to do it again! We also have a great patient base. They are just good people and they seem like family to us. It is an honor to be able to provide dental care for such a great group of people of all ages. It makes coming to work fun!!”
